Do you like adventures?
I hope you do because we are going to go on one, but first I have to tell you about Bob because we are going on the adventure with him. Bob is a little boy and he looks just like most little boys. There is nothing very unusual about him. In fact, quite often people dont seem to notice him at all. He lives at Chalkwell Park with his mother and father and together they are always very busy finding all the lost things that people leave behind there every day. Have you ever left something behind at the Park? Gloves or a football or maybe a magic wand?
The Disappearing Spell was devised by children from Chalkwell Hall Junior School, working with writer, Lucy Sheerman, illustrator, Maggie Li and their teacher Julie Archer.
The story can be followed in Chalkwell Park using GPS, where the story zones will be triggered as you follow the map, or at home as a narrated adventure. The story app has sound and text and is ideal for parents and children to share as an experience in the park.
Narration is by Charlie Platt with recording and sound by Andrew Delaney.
The story is commissioned by Metal as part of NetPark, a unique digital art project mapping stories and artist projects onto Chalkwell Park.
